AHHHHH, one more month and my baby is 1!!! Just in the past week, Mr. Miles has gone from 4 teeth, to 8! All 4 of the new ones just broke through the other day, and unlike his first round of teeth, these didn't seem to bother him! His coaxed steps that he was taking last month, have turned into steps on his own. He is getting more and more brave by the day. Crawling is still his preferred method of travel, but that's just fine by me! ;) Other than that, I'm in crazy craft mode getting things done for his upcoming birthday bash. Someday he'll thank me! Here's a few shots of my little cookie monster, enjoying...what else, but a cookie?!

Miles Alexander, 9 months!!
My little man is 9 months old already!! We went to the doctor and the peanut is starting to grow finally. He weighed 18lbs 6oz, (25%) and was in the 75% for height. He is crawling EVERYWHERE now, as well as pulling up and walking around furniture. I'm sooo not ready for him to walk! He's a fantastic eater, and is completely on table foods. It's amazing watching how much food he can pack away, seeing how small he is. Now onto a few pictures of my every growing little man!

Stats for my scary skeletons
Eli and Miles had their checkups today! It was nice being able to get them both done at the same time, but two boys with shots at the same time wasn't so great! First up, Eli. At 2 years old, he weighs 34lbs (moooo) and 35 inches. He's at the top of the charts for both. He did not want the doctor to come near him though...as I think he is still traumatized by seeing that darn eye doctor. Either way, we got it done, and he's now happy and healthy. He cried just a second when he got his shot, but stopped as soon as he got a pretzel. Hmm...maybe that has something to do with those 34lbs, lol. Totally kidding, we don't over feed our kid. We give him coffee so he doesn't have an appetite instead ;)
Then it was Miles' turn. The boy who was at the top of the charts at his 2 month appointment has fallen down on the lower end. He's only 13lbs 10oz, which is only 7ozs more than he was 2 months ago. He lost a ton of weight over the past 6 weeks due to the vomiting the Pertussis causes from the darn coughing spells. The doctor told us this coughing could last for months...so just continue nursing on demand. He keeps growing in length though, so I just need to beef him back up! We discussed food, which I won't be starting any time soon. Miles isn't showing any interest yet, so we'll wait!
All in all, the boys are doing great. We're hoping that Miles and I both get rid of our darn coughs soon. And I would not wish this illness on anyone. I know how horrible it makes me feel, so it makes my heart ache for my baby!
Now onto my cuties in their skeleton pjs! Eli says he's scary in them, and then makes a funny noise and runs around, lol. Eli also wants to wear them every.single.night. because they glow in the dark! Ahh to be young again!

Miles stats!
I'm a bit late getting around to posting Miles two month stats...but that seems to be a common theme lately, especially since these boys keep me very busy!
Miles seems to be following in Eli's footsteps, weighing in at 13 lbs 3oz, and 24 inches long! He weighs just two ounces less than Eli did, but he's half an inch longer. We'll see if he keeps up the trend, but I'm assuming he will as the boy just loves to eat. He nurses like a champ! Miles did great with his shots, and it was very sweet watching Eli trying to comfort him. I think Eli was just thrilled he wasn't the one getting poked, lol! Here are a few pics of Mr. Miles. He's getting so big so fast!

Miles Alexander, 1 month!
I can't believe my baby is already a month old! Time goes by even faster with the second little one! Miles is doing great. He is a champion nurser, and has been giving me 6-8 hour stretches at night, despite being colicky! (He did have a few rough days, which had me thinking I'd never sleep again!) We had his check-up and the little porker is already weighing in at 10lbs 4oz! Just last week he was only 9lbs, lol! Like I said, the boy LOVES to nurse! He's 23 1/2 inches long. My little baby is getting so big! Miles and Eli have identical growth charts so far! Both chunky and tall!
Miles is already starting to smile in response to his Mama! It just makes me melt! Here is the evolution of a 1 month old's smile!

Miles says, "Mooooo"
Miles had an appointment today with the pediatrician for a weight check. When he was born, he was 7lbs 11oz. He was 7lbs 4oz when we left the hospital, and 7lbs even when he went in at 4 days old for a jaundice check. I was worried he was going to have the same rough start Eli did, (it took Eli a month to get back to his birth weight) but boy was I wrong! Miles was 8lbs today! He gained a whole pound in just one week. The doctor jokes that I must produce cream or milkshakes rather than normal breast milk. Either way, Miles is a little piggy, and he's nursing like a champ. He may end up being bigger than Eli, which I can't imagine! Eli was HUGE...and still isn't small. Here are a few pictures of my little piglet...and some of the big piglet as well!
