Fun with Grammy, boo boos, and coloring eggs!

We spent the day over Grammy's house today! It was so nice outside, so the boys spent a lot of their time running around, but Miles snuck in some one on one Grammy time! Warning, there are a ton of pics!

Miles was laughing hysterically during this!

and quickly after he was tired and crabby, so Papa Steve, AKA "the baby whisperer," got him to sleep!
While outside, Eli managed to smash his thumb in a car door...his poor little boo boo!
But in no time he was back to playing! On a side note, I had to run up to the store, and I hit the jackpot! I got 2 of these little cars, 2 little tikes picnic tables, a Step2 art easel, and a Step2 castle with slide....all for $25!!! Now Grammy's house is loaded up with even more toys!!

The boys had a BLAST!!

And they were both very upset when there were no more eggs to color!
Crooked glasses due to crying and wiping his own tears, lol!
They did pretty good, and only broke a couple!!!

Today we had a double celebration...my Aunt Lynn's birthday AND her retirement! We rented a room at a local rec center so all the kids could run around like crazy...and they did! I took over 100 pictures, so here are a bunch of them, lol!

Trees falling, and crawling!

We spent the day at Grammy's today, where the boys always have such a blast! Eli got to spend the day outside with Papa Steve, watching him cut down a giant tree and playing with his trucks, and Miles had fun running errands and hanging with Mommy and Grammy!

Eli, in all his glory!
Papa Steve tells him the tree is almost ready to fall!
Eli decides to view the action from another angle...can't leave the trucks behind though!
He gets the all clear, promptly drops his trucks...
and checks out the damage with Uncle Ben and the dogs!
Meanwhile, Miles was inside, playing with his toys, and sharpening his crawling skills. He's been moving around for about a month now, but just the other day he started crawling properly! My big boy!!
Look at my apple mommy!
Notice the apple was left behind, and we've moved on to the microphone!
Look out world, here he comes!

Coloring...Papa Steve style!

Eli was enjoying his new markers when he realized how neat it was when the colors stayed on his skin. At first, the markers stayed on his hands and in the coloring book...and then Papa Steve joined in on the fun. Let me add, Eli was BEGGING for him to do more, and more, and more!

The energizer toddler is actually standing still!
My little masterpiece

Eli insisted that Miles join the fun!
Eli also wanted to add a little more color to Miles face...
as you can see, Miles already knows where that marker is going!
Eli telling him, "Okay Minos (aka, Miles) I color you face!"
Just a little bit more

Tada!! Clearly, Miles didn't think purple was his color.
Miles staring down that maker...making sure it doesn't move an inch closer!
At least we know that these markers truly are washable!
It all came off so easily!
