Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!! Mother's Day was a little stressful this year, but still a blessed one none the less. We started our day going out to breakfast with Tata. Miles was fantastic, because he always is when food is involved, lol! Eli on the other hand had started running a fever. He just wanted to be held by me, so eating my breakfast wasn't going to happen. We had to leave sooner than expected due to his melt down. (Which is very out of character for Eli!) After sleeping for 4 HOURS, Eli woke up, screaming like crazy until he was in my arms. This is how I spent much of my day:

Grammy LOVED her pictures that we did! I was able to break away from Eli for a second to take a picture. I didn't even get to get a picture with Miles! :(

The next day, Eli seemed to be doing much better. Fever was gone, so off to Grammy's we went. I figured I'd try and at least get a picture of the boys together in their "Momma's boys" tees (even though we spell it "mama" around here, lol!) and it didn't turn out so well!

This picture cracks me up!
At least they hugged!
Miles escaped for a bit...
He was eyeing Eli's fruit snacks here...
and then in for the kill!
At least they are both sitting still! This was as good as it got!

Mother's Day photo shoot!

For Easter, we tried to go to a photo studio and have pictures taken of the grandkids for my mom. That was a miserable FAIL! So with Mother's Day nearing, I decided we should try again, and this time I'd try taking their pictures. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I was up to it! Here are some of the outtakes, as well as successes!!

Poor Grace getting her head squished by Eli
Poor Grace again, with Miles attacking her bow. At least
Eli yelled at him for it, lol! And Peej looking all innocent.
Oh boy...I was starting to get worried.
Then they were just plain funny!
And here was the keeper!

I also did individual shots of each of them, that went around the big picture in the frame:
Grace
Matthew
Eli
Miles

It was exhausting, but well worth it!! We just know Grammy will love it!!

Happy Easter!! Round 3

For the last leg of our Easter adventure, we went to Uncle Hani and Aunt Shirley's house. After only seconds in the door, Uncle Hani decided it would be a fantastic idea to give the boys a dozen colored eggs...

Uncle Hani then proceeded to show them how to smash them together...
notice cousin Sean in the background laughing, lol!
What can I say, like father, like son!
Miles was NOT happy when there weren't any eggs left to break
Don't worry...he eventually got over it!
Eli's next stop, Aunt Haifa's lap! He knew he could get some cake out of her...
he also knew he could get some coffee out of her! He's one smart cookie! ;)
Aunt Shirley and Eli
Uncle Hani and Avery
Miles and Hayden...they're clearly talking fashion here!
Uncle Hani and Eli
Miles and Mommy
and finally...Miles and Daddy, all tuckered out!
We had a wonderful Easter, and we're so happy we were able to share it with all of our family!

Happy Easter!! Round 1

Happy Easter!! The Easter Bunny came and was very good to Miles and Eli!! We captured more video than pictures, but here's a few shots!!

Eli's basket and loot...
And that generous bunny left some goodies for Miles too!!
Eli couldn't wait to open his new "kid tough" camera!
Miles wasn't fully awake at this point, lol!
Nothing like a mouth full of sour gummy savers early in the morning!!

Happy Easter!!

Fun with Grammy, boo boos, and coloring eggs!

We spent the day over Grammy's house today! It was so nice outside, so the boys spent a lot of their time running around, but Miles snuck in some one on one Grammy time! Warning, there are a ton of pics!

Miles was laughing hysterically during this!

and quickly after he was tired and crabby, so Papa Steve, AKA "the baby whisperer," got him to sleep!
While outside, Eli managed to smash his thumb in a car door...his poor little boo boo!
But in no time he was back to playing! On a side note, I had to run up to the store, and I hit the jackpot! I got 2 of these little cars, 2 little tikes picnic tables, a Step2 art easel, and a Step2 castle with slide....all for $25!!! Now Grammy's house is loaded up with even more toys!!
Miles snacking on some food as we started to color eggs
Grammy and Eli
Uncle Matt and Peej

The boys had a BLAST!!

And they were both very upset when there were no more eggs to color!
Crooked glasses due to crying and wiping his own tears, lol!
They did pretty good, and only broke a couple!!!
