A year in review...

2009 was a roller coaster ride, filled with so many highs and lows. Here's a quick summary of our year!!



-Newly pregnant
-Found out baby #2 was another boy!!
-Put on bed rest
-Celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary
-Daddy went to Vegas with the boys
-Lots of extra doctor appts. for mommy and baby
-Miles Alexander was born...and we finally settled on a name!!
-Tons of summer fun
-Miles and I get pertussis...no fun!
-Eli got glasses
-Eli turned 2!!
-We suffered an unimaginable loss
-Ben moved home, and is going to be a daddy soon!
-We made it through the holidays!

In addition, our year was filled with tons of birthdays, celebrations, play dates, family fun, and many great memories. The end of our year was very rough for us all, so we're excited to see what 2010 will bring! Wishing everyone a very happy, and healthy New Year!!

Eli cannot be trusted...even for a split second. If he is quiet, he's getting into trouble for sure! I was putting Miles down for a nap, and come back to a white haired child. Eli decided that diaper cream would work great as hair gel!!

Merry Christmas!!

We had Christmas breakfast at Grammy's, then it was off to Tata's for the rest of the day. The boys, especially Eli, had so much fun. As always, we enjoyed spending time with all of the family!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at Grammy's!

We spent Christmas Eve at Grammy's house, and had a blast as usual. Here are a few from the day before Christmas Eve...trying to capture a good picture of the boys together. Maybe one day it'll work, lol!

Now onto Christmas Eve...again, trying to get a picture of the boys, lol!

I quickly gave up. After a wonderful dinner and time with the family, it was time for the kids to open their presents! Miles LOVED opening presents!

Since the last month had been so crazy, we didn't even set up a tree at our house. I know, bad mommy! We decided to stay at Grammy's for the night, and Santa would visit the boys there.

he was sitting in a purple bumbo! (Don't worry Miles, yours is blue at home!)

to open the rest of his presents!!

All in all, it was a great Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. We got to spend some quality time with the family, Ben was moved back home, and the boys all had a blast.

Today we went to Uncle Roger's Retirement Party/Salem Lab's annual holiday party. The boys had a wonderful time being spoiled rotten by Uncle Roger and the rest of the Salem Lab family.

Fun with Paul Matthew and Doyle!

Due to some crazy circumstances, we had the pleasure of keeping Peej and Doyle with us for a few days. Matt was headed back to Florida to help Ben drive the moving truck back, (YAY, he's finally coming home!) and Devon was also in Florida, due to the unfortunate passing of her father. It's been a rough month for everyone in this family to say the least! While driving back with her sister, Devon got stuck in the huge winter storm of 09', and they were stuck in West Virginia for a couple of days. Eli and Miles had a great time bonding with Peej and Doyle though!!

Surprisingly, watching 3 boys, each only 10 months apart, it wasn't bad at all! The boys all had a great time, and we loved having them here!!
