Welcome back Erin!!!

This past weekend, a good friend from high school/middle school moved back to Cleveland after living in Toledo for many years. We're so excited, especially since we both have kids, and Miles and her youngest Reese are only a day apart!! Today we went over to Erin's to see the new house, and let the kids play. Warning, there are tons of pics!!

Right away, Miles took a liking to Reese!
He just kept petting her, lol!
(He was probably jealous that she has more hair!)

Reese giving me her serious face...
and then she started posing!
Miles moved non-stop once we got outside!
As did Eli, hence no good pictures of him!
He LOVED the riding mower, lol!
Miles found Kerri and Erin very entertaining!
Our almost 1 year olds!!
This is all my pictures of Rylan were turning out...
Until she realized I could show her them afterwards!
Then she started hamming it up!
They were sweaty messes, but stopped for a second for a snack and a drink!
Here's Rylan again, covered in flowers that she picked and had in all of our hair, lol!

It was a great day, but we had to leave as tantrums were spreading like wild fire, at least from my boys, lol! Welcome back Erin and family, we surely missed you guys!!

Miles Alexander, 11 months!!

AHHHHH, one more month and my baby is 1!!! Just in the past week, Mr. Miles has gone from 4 teeth, to 8! All 4 of the new ones just broke through the other day, and unlike his first round of teeth, these didn't seem to bother him! His coaxed steps that he was taking last month, have turned into steps on his own. He is getting more and more brave by the day. Crawling is still his preferred method of travel, but that's just fine by me! ;) Other than that, I'm in crazy craft mode getting things done for his upcoming birthday bash. Someday he'll thank me! Here's a few shots of my little cookie monster, enjoying...what else, but a cookie?!

I'm bummed this one's a little blurry, the kids moved a camera setting and I didn't notice, lol!

Cookies wear him out!
And a bonus shot of Eli!

Ahh, true love!

We had a great day with our friends, the Puchmeyer's today, and we decided to take the kids to the Bay Nature Center. They had a blast, and were all so well behaved. Lucy and Miles were exceptionally good...so good in fact, that I didn't even remember to take a picture of them! *GASP* Our two little love birds gave us a great photo to use someday when they get married! ;)

So sweet!!

Random pictures...

Some random shots from the past week:

Eli loves playing with the hose with Auggie!
At least he cleans himself during the process!
Love those big ole' lips!

Eli watching Monsters Inc. with his favorite backyard friends!
He's got that, "are you kidding me?" look about him!
My scary monster!
And the other day I decided I was going to relax for a minute on the couch. Both boys immediately climbed right up by me! Miles was smiling and laughing at first, but by the time Nader got the camera, he was over it, lol!
These boys are my world! I'm so blessed to have them!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!! Mother's Day was a little stressful this year, but still a blessed one none the less. We started our day going out to breakfast with Tata. Miles was fantastic, because he always is when food is involved, lol! Eli on the other hand had started running a fever. He just wanted to be held by me, so eating my breakfast wasn't going to happen. We had to leave sooner than expected due to his melt down. (Which is very out of character for Eli!) After sleeping for 4 HOURS, Eli woke up, screaming like crazy until he was in my arms. This is how I spent much of my day:

Grammy LOVED her pictures that we did! I was able to break away from Eli for a second to take a picture. I didn't even get to get a picture with Miles! :(

The next day, Eli seemed to be doing much better. Fever was gone, so off to Grammy's we went. I figured I'd try and at least get a picture of the boys together in their "Momma's boys" tees (even though we spell it "mama" around here, lol!) and it didn't turn out so well!

This picture cracks me up!
At least they hugged!
Miles escaped for a bit...
He was eyeing Eli's fruit snacks here...
and then in for the kill!
At least they are both sitting still! This was as good as it got!

Happy Birthday Ghea!!

On May 6th, we got to celebrate Ghea's 79th birthday! We brought her lunch, and Eli and I made her some red velvet cupcakes, her favorite! Of course Eli was more than happy to sing, "Happy Birthday," and help blow out the candles!

Eli loves his Ghea!
Sharing her goodies with her two favorite boys!
3 very happy campers!!

Today, we celebrated her birthday with the rest of the family:
Miles soaking up all the attention from Kiki and Zach
As you can see, Eli enjoyed his pizza!
Ghea getting help with the candles from Justin and Janiah (great-great grandkids) and Eli!
It took a second try to blow them all out!
Miles enjoying the fun with Aunt Kathy
The notorious candle licker!
Happy Birthday Ghea!! We all love you!!
