Bugs Bite!!

Stomach bugs, that is!! We all came down with the most horrible stomach bug. Miles even had to go to the ER for some fluids and some Zofran to help settle his little tummy. He couldn't even hold his head up or keep his eyes open, it was so scary! It's so horrible seeing your little ones in so much misery, and it's even worse when you have it too and can't take care of them. Here are my poor little men at the very end of it, finally starting to feel better.

Miles Alexander, 9 months!!

My little man is 9 months old already!! We went to the doctor and the peanut is starting to grow finally. He weighed 18lbs 6oz, (25%) and was in the 75% for height. He is crawling EVERYWHERE now, as well as pulling up and walking around furniture. I'm sooo not ready for him to walk! He's a fantastic eater, and is completely on table foods. It's amazing watching how much food he can pack away, seeing how small he is. Now onto a few pictures of my every growing little man!

You can see his top teeth have popped through! Miles is a horrible teether! :(
A couple silly faces:

And we're done!!
Can't leave out big brother Eli...messy face and all!

Eli lost his friend...

Eli's best buddies are my mom's two dogs, Armani and Augi. Today, we sadly had to put Armani down. She had gotten sick, and we didn't want her to be in any more pain. Eli doesn't quite understand where she went, but he notices that Armani is no longer there. As well as being a buddy to Eli, Armani also LOVED Miles, which says a lot, lol. She was a wonderful addition to our family, and we'll miss her spunky attitude!

We love and miss you Armani!

Trees falling, and crawling!

We spent the day at Grammy's today, where the boys always have such a blast! Eli got to spend the day outside with Papa Steve, watching him cut down a giant tree and playing with his trucks, and Miles had fun running errands and hanging with Mommy and Grammy!

Eli, in all his glory!
Papa Steve tells him the tree is almost ready to fall!
Eli decides to view the action from another angle...can't leave the trucks behind though!
He gets the all clear, promptly drops his trucks...
and checks out the damage with Uncle Ben and the dogs!
Meanwhile, Miles was inside, playing with his toys, and sharpening his crawling skills. He's been moving around for about a month now, but just the other day he started crawling properly! My big boy!!
Look at my apple mommy!
Notice the apple was left behind, and we've moved on to the microphone!
Look out world, here he comes!
