Welcome back Erin!!!

This past weekend, a good friend from high school/middle school moved back to Cleveland after living in Toledo for many years. We're so excited, especially since we both have kids, and Miles and her youngest Reese are only a day apart!! Today we went over to Erin's to see the new house, and let the kids play. Warning, there are tons of pics!!

Right away, Miles took a liking to Reese!

It was a great day, but we had to leave as tantrums were spreading like wild fire, at least from my boys, lol! Welcome back Erin and family, we surely missed you guys!!

Ahh, true love!

We had a great day with our friends, the Puchmeyer's today, and we decided to take the kids to the Bay Nature Center. They had a blast, and were all so well behaved. Lucy and Miles were exceptionally good...so good in fact, that I didn't even remember to take a picture of them! *GASP* Our two little love birds gave us a great photo to use someday when they get married! ;)

So sweet!!

Happy New Year!!

We brought in the New Year with our great friends, The Puchmeyers!! Eli and Bella had their first sleepover, and slept in the same room without incident. We were thrilled, and enjoyed hearing them talk before falling fast asleep. The kids got to have some fun before we shipped them off to bed though!

The kids went to bed, and we had a great time playing the Wii, having great conversations, lots of food, and of course a few adult drinks!

Fun Fall Friday part 1

We had a great day today, but we did a few different activities and of course I took a ton of pictures, hence the two part day. We started this BEAUTIFUL fall day by going outside early. With Ohio weather, you never know what the forecast may bring, so we wanted to take advantage of this Indian summer type of day just in case it rained. After being outside for a bit, Callista, Bella and Lucy were on their way to join us for some lunch and testing out some of Eli's new birthday toys. While the kids were eating, Callista and I witnessed their first conversation ever. A real conversation, that was absolutely adorable, and all about cars. I tried to capture a picture of it...but they wouldn't cooperate. Instead, you get to see them stuffing their faces!





After our play date and the boys' naps, I wanted to take a few pictures of Miles, as he's gaining so much strength, the beast will be sitting on his own in no time! Here's my little man doing his "tripod" sit:

Then we went back outside, as it was in the low 70's, and there was a beautiful breeze. Eli wanted to play with his new mower...

Today we went to Grammy's house, and the Puchmeyer crew joined us! Callista's car needed some brake work, so we figured while Steve was fixing them, the kids could feed the ducks, walk around the pond, play in the dirt, and just be kids! They had a BLAST, and were covered head to toe in dirt!

Then it was time to bring out the big guns...the Tonka trucks!

We took a break to eat, and the kids wanted to play a little more.

Bella...she was starting to look tired as well, but she didn't act it either!

My filthy boy! He's got dirt, ice cream, ketchup, cookie pieces, and more dirt all over him!

He would have napped in the dirt if we let him!

We all had a great day! It was so nice watching Eli and Bella together and getting down and dirty! (And to think...Eli comes home like this after every trip to Grammy's, lol!) Callista, Jason, Bella and Lucy are welcome to come back with us anytime!!
