Miles had an appointment today with the pediatrician for a weight check. When he was born, he was 7lbs 11oz. He was 7lbs 4oz when we left the hospital, and 7lbs even when he went in at 4 days old for a jaundice check. I was worried he was going to have the same rough start Eli did, (it took Eli a month to get back to his birth weight) but boy was I wrong! Miles was 8lbs today! He gained a whole pound in just one week. The doctor jokes that I must produce cream or milkshakes rather than normal breast milk. Either way, Miles is a little piggy, and he's nursing like a champ. He may end up being bigger than Eli, which I can't imagine! Eli was HUGE...and still isn't small. Here are a few pictures of my little piglet...and some of the big piglet as well!

Happy 4th of July!!
Before I share our pictures from the 4th, I have to put in a couple of pictures of Miles and Uncle Matt. He was feeling neglected! I'm sure Miles will adore his Uncle just as Eli does!
With Miles, not even 24 hours old!

Now back to our scheduled program! We decided to venture to Crocker Park for a bit before we went to our family cookouts. Here are a few shots of the boys before we left!
Clearly, we're boring him!
There wasn't much for Eli to do at Crocker, but it was nice to get out and walk around. Next year he'll have a lot more fun. We then headed to Diane and Joe's, and the boys got to hang out with their cousins!
Avery and Eli were working on the table together!
Before long, it was time to head to Uncle Matt's for cookout #2. Eli had a blast playing with all the dogs and of course cousin Peej!
Eli didn't want to share the balls in his hands, lol.

Brotherly Love!
First Bath!
Miles had his first bath today, at 8 days old. Yay for no more sponge baths!! 8 days old is also when Eli had his first bath. Speaking of Eli, he was a great helper! He was the official "hair washer." He loves doing anything to help with Miles, even throwing away poopy diapers. ;) Miles wasn't too sure about the water at first, but within seconds he was loving it. I can't get over how much the boys look alike as infants. Sometimes it's as if I'm staring at Eli. The second picture is of Eli at the same age, same tub, etc. I'm very curious to see how Miles looks as he gets older. It will be interesting to see if he follows his big brother's footsteps!
Not too sure yet...

Pictures!!
Things have been busy lately, so I am just now getting around to uploading some pictures. Miles is already a week old! Time goes by way too quickly. Eli is doing great with his little brother, and just loves him to pieces! Miles is a champ at nursing and sleeping, and as of right now, is really quite an easy baby. He seems to be following in his big brother's footsteps! Here are a few photos from the past few days!
