Miles Alexander, 8 months!!

Wow, eight months already! My high needs mama's boy is getting so big! In the world of Miles...mama is by far his favorite word, followed by high pitched screaming and squealing. Crawling is just around the corner, but Miles gets wherever he wants to go by doing a cute little butt scoot. He still has just 2 teeth, still not a good sleeper, but at least he's pretty happy! Miles adores his big brother now, especially since he figured out Eli often has food. He is an amazing eater, and I haven't found a food he hasn't liked. (And trust me, I make him EVERYTHING!) So now, some pictures of my handsome little guy!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Yesterday we were fortunate enough to ship the boys off to Grammy's for a sleepover, while we went out on a much needed date! First, a few shots of the boys in one of their many pairs of Valentine's pjs!

The food was quickly inhaled, and our photo-op was over!

So while the boys were in great hands, Nader and I met up with some of our friends, and had a great dinner at Hyde Park. We finished the evening with a little night cap...or two! ;) We had a fantastic time, and are so thankful that Grammy and Papa Steve kept the boys overnight!! When all was said and done, we all had a fantastic Valentine's Day!!

Snow much fun!

We brought all of Eli's snow gear to Grammy's house, because Papa Steve was nice enough to plow a good path for Eli, and create a big hill for him to climb. Eli was excited to play in the snow...until Grammy threw a snowball that hit him in the face, and got stuck in between his glasses!! As you can see, he got over it quickly though!

Double duty!

Today was the first time I gave the boys a bath together, and they loved it! Miles is finally sturdy enough to withstand Eli's constant love taps, lol!

There were two rare occurrences in the Salem household today, and I actually got them on camera! First, Miles content, somewhere other than Mommy's arms!!

And Eli, the lightest sleeper in the world (aside from Miles, lol) would not wake up! I had to take about 15 pictures before the flash finally woke him up!! He looks so sweet!
