Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo would be what I'd call a well planned disaster. We met up with our favorite family, The Puchmeyers, at McDonalds for a fast dinner first. The kids were having a great time running around in the play land...but we packed them up anyway and headed to the zoo! I am pretty sure it took us a good 20 minutes after parking before we even started walking towards the zoo, lol. By the time we got all the kids in costume, the strollers ready to go, and looked for Lucy's missing binky, it had been a bit. Of course, I had to get a shot of my little Tigger and Pooh before the fun began!

Miles, AKA Pooh Bear
Notice in all the chaos the stickers are still on the ears, lol
Mommy and Tigger...finally moving!!

And then we got into to zoo...getting ready to take pictures of the kids with some of the animals and characters...and my camera lens broke!! To top it off, Callista's camera was almost out of batteries! And pretty much the whole time, one of our four children was crying/unhappy. It's easy to laugh about it now, as we were all just one giant hot mess! Callista did get a picture of our little "Poohs" together, and Tigger and Minnie before her camera died. I stole these from her. (Thanks Callista, love ya!!) Oh, and Miles and Lucy having the same costume was a complete coincidence!

This was as good as it got with Bella and Eli, lol!

A day at the zoo!

We decided to venture out to the Akron Zoo with some of our mommy friends! Callista and I figured between the two of us, we could keep our four kids contained, and if not, there would be other mom's there to take pity on us, lol! Just to give you an idea, this is how our day started...and this is just in the parking lot:

Eli was not happy about getting sunscreen on, so during this wonderful tantrum, some of it got in his eye...boy was that a fun meltdown! He finally calmed down while watching the penguins. They were actually very cute! We continued on our way and spent some time in the jellyfish exhibit. We all seemed to enjoy it, and I had no idea how many different types of jellyfish there are. Some of them were so neat looking. I was able to snap a shot of these little guys:

Then it was time for lunch. Food always seems to make Eli happy...at least for a moment! He was very entertained by the snack cup being placed on his head!

Finally, we tried to snap a shot of all of us together. A few of the girls are missing, as they were taking the pictures, but you get the idea. The babies had us outnumbered for sure! Mr. Miles is in there too...but he was in the sling, so he stayed hidden!

All in all we had a good time...even with some cranky toddlers. Our friend Jamie even made it out with her adorable triplet boys! I plan on going back at least one more time with Nader, just so Eli can walk the zoo and play in all the little kiddie sections. Callista and I weren't going to brave this on our own since we both had the babies with us as well. We're brave, but not nuts! (Although our husbands may not agree!)

Father's Day at the Zoo!

First off, Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's and Daddy's to be, especially Nader! He is such an amazing husband and Father, and these boys are so blessed to have him as their Daddy!!

We spent most of today at the zoo! More so to try and walk this baby out than anything, lol. It was something we used to do with my dad every year when we were younger, so we're going to try and do it every year with our family. Nader, myself, Eli, Matt, Devon, Peej, (aka little Matthew) mom, and Steve all came. Note to self...never, ever, go to the zoo with a child that had been running a fever the day before and is getting all four of his 2yr molars in. We had a few melt downs! Beware, there are tons of pictures!

Grammy and Eli
(sorry mom, I had a great one of you guys but I accidentally deleted it, lol!)
Meeting the monkey statue, Eli loved it!
They had a lot to say to each other

Taking a walk with Daddy!
Not even sure what he was looking at here!
Taking a break on the turtle.
Mr. Peej didn't seem to enjoy it as much as Eli did
Chillin' with Uncle Matt
and wiping off his head, lol!
Eli loved looking at the Red Panda
All tuckered out, waiting for the tram
(I walked up all those hills and steps, I wasn't about to walk down them! I thought this baby was going to fall out, or be delivered by the gorillas!)

Of course, Eli was so tired and cranky, he fell asleep in the car. Got a good nap, and relaxed with daddy for the rest of the evening. Daddy changed his diaper, hence the lack of shorts.
First he covered Nader in a blanket, then he sat on his head!
Taking some time to cuddle up with daddy!
One last shot of the little man before it was bath and bedtime!

To wrap up our evening we had some Chipotle for dinner. Got the spicy meat, the spicy salsa...one can hope right? Today's activities to get baby no name out:

5 hours walking at the zoo

Chipotle

Pineapple

Bouncing on the exercise ball

Let's hope this brings on more contractions!! (I've been getting them all day long, I just need them to get stronger and closer!)

Come on little man!! I promise we'll give you a name once I see your precious face!!
