Miles Alexander, 1 month!
I can't believe my baby is already a month old! Time goes by even faster with the second little one! Miles is doing great. He is a champion nurser, and has been giving me 6-8 hour stretches at night, despite being colicky! (He did have a few rough days, which had me thinking I'd never sleep again!) We had his check-up and the little porker is already weighing in at 10lbs 4oz! Just last week he was only 9lbs, lol! Like I said, the boy LOVES to nurse! He's 23 1/2 inches long. My little baby is getting so big! Miles and Eli have identical growth charts so far! Both chunky and tall!
Miles is already starting to smile in response to his Mama! It just makes me melt! Here is the evolution of a 1 month old's smile!
Now she's really cracking me up!

A week full of play dates!!
We had so much fun this past week, playing with all of our friends! We had our usual play date with Callista, Bella and Lucy, but also had some adventures with some neighbors, cousins, and our mom's group! Of course, I only captured two out of the five on film, lol. Baby brain has got me bad this time!
Lucy and Miles slept through it all...here was Miles when we got home:
Great smile from Eli and Avery, but Hayden had other plans!
Next time hopefully I'll remember to take the camera OUT of the diaper bag at our other play dates...keyword, "hopefully!"

Boy vs. Puddle
Today we had another visit with my Grandma. Both the boys love seeing their Ghea. Eli loves sitting on her lap and going through all of her kitchen gadgets, and Miles loves being rocked by her. Well, today Eli loved going to her house even more. She had a big ole' puddle in her driveway, and he was dying to step in it. I'm the master at stain removal so the clothes weren't a worry, and he had Crocs on. Perfect for a battle with a puddle!!
Eli ran through the darn thing probably 50 times, and then he finally tripped and sat in it! I was shocked it didn't happen sooner! He LOVED it though.

Fun at the Fair!
This weekend was Fairview's annual Summer Fest! We went last night for a little bit to have dessert, and see Uncle Matt, Devon and Mr. Peej. Eli and Peej had a wonderful time loading up on sugar from all of the adults. They both had some birthday cake Dippin' Dots, banana split Dippin' Dots, some chocolate custard from Weber's, and some chocolate chip cookie! Can you say sugar rush? Surprisingly Eli still went to bed on time! Nader and I were able to hear and see the fireworks from our house, since we couldn't stay long enough to see them there.
Today we went again with the Puchmeyer Family! It was great fun as usual! We had a nice lunch together, and then Eli and Bella rode a couple of rides! Of course I had the camera ready to go, and snapped a few pictures:
First, a few from the never ending train ride. Seriously...this ride went on FOREVER! I'm shocked the kids weren't screaming to get off, lol! We certainly got our $2 worth!
Then it was time to go home. We managed to leave before any serious meltdowns, so that's always a plus!! We had a great time today Callista, Jason, Bella and Lucy!! We always love hanging out with you all! (I know you're reading this! ;) )

Our best buds!
Today we had our weekly play date with our best buds, Callista, Bella and Lucy. They came over to play outside, have some lunch and give Callista and I our much needed mommy time! Before they came, I snapped a few shots of the boys. Eli insists on holding Miles every morning. He is so in love with his baby brother...I just melt watching them together. It was so cute, Miles was actually smiling like crazy for Eli. Yes, my baby who is only 3 weeks old today has been smiling like crazy. (And no it wasn't gas, lol!)
Yes, my little stinker ran into his bedroom and tried to hid under an umbrella, lol! Didn't work for long, but it was darn cute!! (At least I know it's not just my toddler who hates diaper changes...Bella hates them too!)
