Birthday party fun!

Today we went to the park to celebrate our friend Parker's 5th birthday! It ended up being a perfect day, and Eli has a blast running around, looking at all the Star Wars themed items, and of course eating cake!

Miles Alexander, 3 months!

Where has the time gone? My baby is already 3 months old!! Eeeek! We love you Miles Alexander! You are such a joy in our lives, and for such a little man, you already have a BIG personality!!

A brother's bond...

Melts a mother's heart! Fresh out of the tub and in their jammies, Eli needed to hold his brother while watching his favorite show, "The Backyardigans." Miles didn't seem to mind!

Welcome Back!

We're so happy our cousins moved back to Ohio. They were living in North Carolina for a bit, but a job opportunity brought them back!! Welcome home Jon, Amber, Jas and Jesse, we missed you!

Today we found out that Eli is going to need glasses. Poor little guy has been having trouble seeing for who knows how long. Good thing my mommy intuition didn't listen to the first two doctors!! I knew something was up with my boy! So, pretty soon those long lashes will be magnified by some glasses! ;) My handsome little man is going to look so studious...his big ole' lips, those long lashes, and pretty soon some glasses!!

It was Uncle Matt's birthday today, so off we went to Grammy's house for his birthday dinner! Before the man of the hour arrived, Eli and Grammy spent some time in the bobcat!

Take note...he has BIRTHDAY candles on his cake, not tea lights! ;) They were used though, so mom is now officially no longer allowed to provide candles.

Ducks, dogs and dirt!

Today we went to Grammy's house, and the Puchmeyer crew joined us! Callista's car needed some brake work, so we figured while Steve was fixing them, the kids could feed the ducks, walk around the pond, play in the dirt, and just be kids! They had a BLAST, and were covered head to toe in dirt!

Then it was time to bring out the big guns...the Tonka trucks!

They had so much fun filling them up with rocks!

We all had a great day! It was so nice watching Eli and Bella together and getting down and dirty! (And to think...Eli comes home like this after every trip to Grammy's, lol!) Callista, Jason, Bella and Lucy are welcome to come back with us anytime!!

Getting his hair did!

Today we had a much needed play date with our favorite friends, Bella and Lucy. Of course I got to see one of my favorite friends as well, Callista. Anna, Callista's Au Pair even joined in on the fun. Miles is in love with Anna. He was flirting with her all during lunch. What can I say, my boys have great taste! Eli and Bella played so well together today. Jumping on furniture, pretending to be a rock band...and of course, playing beauty shop! Eli wanted all the clips in his hair, but he managed to share a few with the girls too!!
